“Association of Medical Histotechnologists of India” (AMHI) is a professional organization representing the Histotechnologists in India. The organization was formed in the year 2014 and it is duly registered and recognized as a professional body.
AMHI aims to maintain a continuous process of improving the techniques and knowledge, upgrade the skills for the professional development of fellow members, and give the rightful recognition and credit to the Histotechnologists. At present, there are more than 280 members, and the number is growing.
AMHI connects with the members, who are spread across the length and breadth of the country, thru the website. It also gives the opportunity for hands-on experiments/procedures and direct interaction with the experts thru CMEs. The first two CMEs were conducted in Mumbai in the years 2017 & 2018. The last CME was conducted at Nagpur during the year 2019. There will be many more initiatives in the time to come.
Improve quality, standardize the techniques, share experience and insights in the field of histotechnology at national level.
To bring all the histotechnologists across the nation on a common platform of AMHI to update their skills and knowledge by learning new techniques and latest developments in histotechnology.
